School Department

Our school began in 2020 with just 7 learners and a vision to provide quality education to children from underprivileged backgrounds. Shortly after we opened, the COVID-19 pandemic forced schools to shut down. Despite this challenge, we reopened in 2021 with 13 learners and have experienced steady growth every year since.

We are dedicated to serving children from economically disadvantaged families, orphans, and children from single-parent homes. As of 2025, we now offer classes from Playgroup to Grade 5, with a total enrollment of 155 learners.

What We Provide:

  • School uniforms for all our students

  • Nutritious breakfast and lunch every school day

  • A nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Our Team:

  • 12 dedicated teachers

  • 2 compassionate cooks

  • 3 committed administrative staff members

How You Can Help:

We welcome volunteers, partners, and donors who share our mission of empowering children through education. Your support—whether in kind, financial, or through service—goes a long way in transforming lives.

Join us in making a difference—one child at a time.

2025 Achievement

To all Victoria Watoto Schools sponsors, friends, teachers, and staff,
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your endless support. We’re thrilled to announce that our precious Merrill has returned after representing Homa Bay County in the regional ball games held in Siaya! Our children and teachers couldn’t help but give a warm welcome back to our champion!
Considering Merrill’s age, we’re especially proud of this achievement – every accomplishment like this is a big deal for us.
Thank you all for your continued support.
